Description
A conceptual USAF Northrop RB-49A reconnaissance variant is escorted by two F-86E Sabre Jets. This is how an operational RB-49A may have appeared. Unfortunately, the Northrop YB-49A flying wing program was terminated in 1949, and the single YRB-49A flew for the last time in 1951. All of the flying wings were scrapped.
