Artist's Description
A USAF Convair B-58 Hustler goes into afterburner at sunset. The supersonic B-58 served in the Strategic Air Command (SAC) during the height of the Cold War. Nicknamed the “Cowtown Hustler”, this B-58A (t/n 92458) was the winner of the prestigious Bendix trophy in 1962, and is currently on display at the National Museum of the USAF.
