Description

A sub-scale Northrop N-9MB flying wing appeared at the Chino Planes of Fame Air Show and Edwards AFB Open House. This is a restored piloted sub-scale flying wings that were initially tested during the 1940s, prior to building the larger YB-49A flying wings. Unfortunately, on April 22, 2019 the N-9MB and its pilot was lost in a tragic accident.
